The Report Manager allows you to view the criteria and download the reports you've run as well as reports that are scheduled to run in the future. With the Report Manager you can also subscribe to and bookmark reports.
The Report Manager is divided into two main sections, the report history and the options menu. The report history will show you all of the reports you have run, as well as reports you have scheduled to run in the future. You can search for a report by using the search bar.
The options menu allows you to select a task for the reports you have run. This menu provides you with several functions:
- Name a Report
- Bookmark a Report
- Run a Report
- Download a Report
- Delete a Report
- Share a Report
- Subscribe to a Report
- Edit a Report
- View Delivered Reports
Name a Report
Once you have run a report, you can rename it at any time using the options menu. To rename a report, follow the steps below:
- Select a report from the Report History list
- Click on the report name in the options menu
- Edit the report name
- Hit enter
Bookmark a Report
Adding a bookmark will allow you to tag report. This will make it easier to search for and run multiple reports. To bookmark a report, follow the steps below:
- Select a report from the Report History list
- Click inside the "Add a bookmark" text box in the options menu
- Type the name of the bookmark
- Hit Enter
Note: When a bookmark is saved, the name will turn blue inside the bookmark text box and will also appear next to the report(s) you selected in the Report History list in purple.
Run a Report
You can re-run a report from the Report Manager by selecting the report from the report history and hitting run in the options menu.
Download a Report
To download a report from the report history, follow the steps below:
- Select the report or reports you want to download from the report history
(Note: To select multiple reports, click the Multi Select button) - Click the download button in the options menu
Share a Report
The Report Manager allows you to share reports once they have completed. There are three options you can choose from to share a report:
- Provide a link
- Share with RICS User(s)
To share a report using one of the above options, follow the steps below:
- Select the report or reports you want to share from the report history
(Note: To select multiple reports, click the Multi Select button) - Click the Share button in the options menu
- To share via a link, copy the provided link and send to report receipt
- To share via email, enter the recipient email address(s)and click Share
- To share to another RICS user, enter the username(s) and click Share
There are two additional options that have been provided for sharing reports:
Checking the "Only share the report options" box will only share the criteria for the report, but not the report itself
Subscribe to a Report
Subscribing to reports gives you the option to schedule reports to run in the future. Reports can be scheduled to run on a regular time interval and can also be delivered to your inbox. To Subscribe to a report, follow the steps below:
- Select the report or reports you want to subscribe to
- Click the Subscribe button in the options menu
- Enter the Subscription Name (i.e. Weekly Sales Analysis)
- Enter the Email addresses you want to send the report to
- Enter the Preferred time you want the report delivered
- Enter the Delivery Frequency (Note: To select multiple days, click on each day you want the report to run. Selected days will appear in dark purple)
- Click Subscribe
Reports that you have scheduled to run will appear in the report history under the "Future" time category.
Edit a Report
You can edit the criteria for a report you have run from the Report Manager. To edit a report, select the report you want to edit from the report history and click the Edit button. This will automatically take you back to the criteria page for that report.
View Delivered Reports
You can view delivered reports from the Report Manager. To view delivered reports, click on the Deliveries button in the options menu.
