How to Manage Time Clock Records

This document is a resource for retailers to understand how to:

Manage Open Time Clock Records

The Open Records tab lists time clock records that are currently open and allows you to edit the record or delete the record entirely.

Edit Open Time Clock Record

  1. Navigate to the System:: Time Clock page in the RICS Back Office
  2. Click Edit button to the left of the open record you're editing
  3. Modify Date/Time In, add Date/Time Out, and/or modify the Non-Sale Hour designation
  4. Click Update button to the left of the open record you're editing
  5. Click Save button at the bottom of the page

Delete Open Time Clock Record

  1. Navigate to the System:: Time Clock page in the RICS Back Office
  2. Select the Delete check-boxes to the left of the open records you want to delete
  3. Click Delete button at the bottom of the page

 

 

 

Manage Closed Time Clock Records

The Manage Records tab lists closed time clock records that have been entered within the last 60 days and provides the LookUp Tool to filter the results.  You can edit the closed records or delete them entirely.

Edit Closed Time Clock Record

  1. Navigate to the System:: Time Clock page in the RICS Back Office
  2. Select the Manage Records tab
  3. Use the LookUp Tool if necessary to filter the closed records
  4. Click Edit button to the left of the open record you're editing
  5. Modify Date/Time In, modify Date/Time Out, and/or modify the Non-Sale Hour designation
  6. Click Update button to the left of the open record you're editing
  7. Click Save button at the bottom of the page

Delete Closed Time Clock Record

  1. Navigate to the System:: Time Clock page in the RICS Back Office
  2. Select the Manage Records tab
  3. Select the Delete check-boxes to the left of the open records you want to delete
  4. Click Delete button at the bottom of the page

 

 

 

Add New Time Clock Records

  1. The Add New Record tab provides a form to add new time clock records.  Open and closed time clock records can be added using this form as Date Out and Time Out are not required.
  2. Navigate to the System:: Time Clock page in the RICS Back Office
  3. Select the Add New Record tab
  4. Fill out the Add New Record form
  5. Click Save button at the bottom of the page
