The Taxed Sales amount will be different from Net Sales amount if your organization uses taxable coupons. If a customer purchases an item for $100 and uses a $10 taxable coupon, this will show up as $100 of Taxed Sales on the Sales Tax Recap and $90 of Net Sales on all other reports. For this reason, any organization that uses taxable coupons cannot expect the Taxed Sales plus the Untaxed Sales from the Sales Tax Recap to equal the Net Sales from other reports.
