OVERVIEW
The Manage Ecommerce Product feature enables retailers to manage which RICS Products are connected to an online product regardless of platform (Shopify, Amazon, etc.), and how RICS data syncs on a per size basis.
This document is a resource for retailers to understand how to:
1. Map products (Ecommerce to RICS)
2. Manage pricing strategies
3. Manage flat price differences
4. Manage inventory thresholds
5. Manage syncing (on/off)
MAP PRODUCTS (ECOMMERCE TO RICS)
The Manage Ecommerce Product screen will allow a retailer to easily:
1. View if an ecommerce product(s) is not mapped to a RICS Product
2. Map an ecommerce product(s) to a RICS product(s)
VIEW MAPPING STATE
RICS identifies unmapped products by highlighting the record in red and displaying an in the Sync column of a product

Note: To filter only unmapped products, check the Show only invalid listings checkbox and click Apply Filters
MAPPING PRODUCTS
Follow the steps below to map an unmapped product(s) to a RICS product(s):
1. Use the cursor to hover over the unmapped product and click Edit on the right side of the screen
Note: After clicking edit the screen will focus on the unmapped product.
2. Use the cursor to hover over the unmapped product and click Set SKU on the right side of the screen
3. Enter the SKU and/or description in the corresponding fields and click search to display the results
Note: Use the % symbol as a wildcard if entire SKU and/or Description is unknown.
4. Click the SKU that the Shopify SKU will be mapped to and click OK
5. Use the Grid Col and Grid Row dropdown menus to specify the product size
Note: Grid Row will only be available if a row is available on the product.
6. If multiple sizes exist, select the Grid Col and Grid Row values for each size
7. Click Back
8. Repeat steps 1-6 to map additional unmapped products
9. Click Save
Note: To prevent loss of mapping updates, RICS recommends clicking Save every couple of products.
MANAGE PRICING STRATEGIES
The Manage Ecommerce Product screen will allow a retailer to control how RICS communicates prices to an ecommerce platform:
· Retail – Price is managed in RICS and active selling price is sent to ecommerce platform.
· Retail MAP – Price is managed in RICS and active selling price is sent to ecommerce platform; if a product was imported from the Global Product Catalog and the price is lower than MAP price provided by vendor, MAP price will be sent to ecommerce platform.
· Manual – Price is managed in ecommerce platform.
Follow the steps below to change the pricing strategy for product(s):
1. Use the cursor to hover over the product and click Edit on the right side of the screen
Note: After clicking edit the screen will focus on the product.
2. Use the Pricing Strategy dropdown menu to update the product’s price strategy
3. If multiple sizes exist, make the preferred selection for each of the items on the page
4. Click Back
5. Repeat steps 1-4 to update the pricing strategy for all necessary products
6. Click Save

MANAGE FLAT PRICE DIFFERENCES
The Manage Ecommerce Product screen will allow a retailer to adjust prices sent to an ecommerce platform by a flat amount above or below the active selling price in RICS.
Follow the steps below to set a flat price amount adjustment:
1. Use the cursor to hover over the product and click Edit on the right side of the screen
Note: After clicking edit the screen will focus on the product.
2. Enter the dollar amount in the Offset field to adjust the price above or below the active selling price in RICS
3. Click Back
4. Repeat steps 1-3 to adjust the Offset value for all necessary products
5. Click Save
Note: To prevent loss of updates, RICS recommends clicking Save every couple of products.
MANAGE INVENTORY THRESHOLDS
The Manage Ecommerce Product screen will allow a retailer to reserve inventory for in-store selling by reducing the inventory quantity sent to an ecommerce platform.
Follow the steps below to reserve inventory for in-store selling:
1. Use the cursor to hover over the product and click Edit on the right side of the screen
Note: After clicking edit the screen will focus on the product.
2. Enter the inventory quantity in the Threshold field reserved for in-store selling
3. Click Back
4. Repeat steps 1-3 to reserve threshold inventory quantities for all necessary products
5. Click Save
Note: To prevent loss of updates, RICS recommends clicking Save every couple of products.
MANAGE SYNCING (ON/OFF)
The Manage Ecommerce Product screen will allow a retailer to toggle on and off the syncing of inventory and pricing information to an ecommerce platform.
Follow the steps below to toggle the sync status for a product:
1. Use the cursor to hover over the product and click Edit on the right side of the screen
Note: After clicking edit the screen will focus on the product.
2. Check or uncheck the Sync checkbox to turn on or off the sync status in RICS
3. Click Back
4. Repeat steps 1-3 to turn on or off the sync status for all necessary products
5. Click Save
