Adding a Customer
1. On the POS, select the option labeled Tap to choose or add a Customer
2. To add an existing customer, follow the steps below:
a. Search for the customer using one of the following data points:
b. First Name
c. Last Name
d. Full Name
e. Email
f. Phone Number
3. To add a new customer, follow the steps below:
a. Select the option to Add a New Customer
b. Enter the customer information into the fields provided
c. Select “Add a Customer”
Adding Items to a Transaction by Scanning
1. On the POS, select the option to Scan with Camera
2. Scan all items on the transaction
3. When all items have been scanned, close the scanning window
Adding Items to a Transaction by Item Lookup
1. On the POS, select the magnifying glass to access the inventory lookup menu
2. Search for the product
3. Select the product from the results provided
4. Select the size (If applicable)
5. Select “Add to Cart”
Adding a Discount
1. Select the option to add a discount
2. Select an option to add a discount to Specific Items or the Entire Sale
3. For a Specific Item discount, select the item from the list provided
4. Select % or $ discount
5. Enter a discount amount
6. Select the option for Apply Discount
Updating the Product Price
1. Add a product to the cart
2. Tap on the product price
3. Enter the new price of the product
4. Select Done
Updating the Product Quantity
1. Add a product to the cart
2. Tap on the quantity
3. Enter the new product quantity
4. Select Done
Process a Credit Card Transaction- Payload
1. Select the option for Credit Card
2. To apply a Specific amount, select the option for “Enter a different amount”
3. Swipe, Tap, or Dip the card on the credit card reader
4. Select “Finish Sale” to complete the transaction
Process a Credit Card Transaction- Non-integrated
1. Select the option for Credit Card
2. To apply a Specific amount, select the option for “Enter a different amount”
3. Process the Credit Card outside of the POS App
4. Select I’m Finished
5. Select “Finish Sale” to complete the transaction
Process a Cash Transaction
1. Select the Option for Cash
2. Enter the amount of cash received
3. Select “Done”
4. Select “Finish Sales” to complete the transaction
Process a Split Payment
1. Select the first Payment Type option (Credit Card or Cash)
2. Enter the amount to be applied to the first Payment Type
3. Select the second Payment Type option (Credit Card or Cash)
4. Enter the amount to be applied to the second Payment Type
5. Repeat steps until full sale amount has been applied to a Payment Type
6. Select “Finish Sale” to complete the transaction
Cancel a Sale
1. Select the option to Cancel Sale
Receipt Options
1. Select a receipt option from the list provided
Process a Return
1. Select the Transaction History menu in the left navigation bar
2. To start a return by scanning the receipt, select the option to “Open Camera Scanner”
3. Scan the barcode on the receipt
4. Select the option to “Start a Return”
5. To start a return from the transaction history, search for the transaction
6. Select the transaction from the list provided
7. Select the option to Start a Return
8. Select the item(s) to be returned
9. Select a return reason
10. Select a Refund Method
11. Select “Process Refund” to complete the transaction
Process an Exchange
1. To lookup the original transaction:
a. Receipt Barcode: Select the Transaction History menu in the left navigation bar
b. Select the option to “Open Camera Scanner”
c. Scan the barcode on the receipt
d. Select the option for Start an Exchange
2. Transaction Lookup: Select the Transaction History menu in the left navigation bar
a. Search for the transaction
3. Select the transaction
4. Select the option to “Start an Exchange”
5. Select the item(s) to be returned
6. Select a return reason
7. To dd new items, select the Scan with Camera option
8. If the customer owed additional funds:
a. Select the option for “Add Payment”
b. Select the Payment Type
c. Select “Finish Payment” to complete the transaction
9. If the customer is owed a refund
a. Select the option for “Select Refund Method”
b. Select a Refund Method
c. Select “Process Refund” to complete the transaction
10. If the sale results in an even exchange:
a. Select “Finish Exchange” to complete the transaction
Lookup On-Hand Inventory
1. On the POS, select the magnifying glass to access the inventory lookup menu
2. Search for the product
3. Select the product from the results provided
4. Select the size (If applicable)
5. Review the on-hand inventory information in the right-hand menu
Link the tDynamo (Payload Only)
1. On the tDynamo, hold the button until the blue light flashes
2. Select the settings menu in the bottom left corner of the POS
3. Match the serial number on the device to the device image on the screen
4. Select the option for “Tap to Connect”
5. When prompted, enter ‘000000’ as the pairing code
Note: The tDynamo is paired through the POS and not through the Bluetooth settings of the device
Comments
