This guide provides step-by-step instructions for what to expect after your RICS Point of Sale updates on September 16, 2025.

What to Expect:

1. After launching the RICS POS application, users will receive the following alert message:

2. Click “OK.” The POS application will close and relaunch displaying the new POS version, 3.18.0.9.
3. Log into the POS
4. Upon login, users will receive an additional alert message to update their password:

5. Click “OK.” Follow the next prompt to change the user password.

6. Click “Change.” You will be logged in, and can begin ringing sales!
