Troubleshooting the Verifone MX915 terminal
If a pin pad terminal is unable to establish a network connection you may receive the following error:
FORM AGENT - CRITICAL ERROR: FAILED TO GET NETWORK PARAMETERS!
This error signifies the terminal could not establish an internet connection. If this occurs, please follow the steps below:
1. Unplug the Power Cord and Ethernet Cable from the Puck
2. Wait 10-15 seconds
3. Reconnect the Ethernet Cable, followed by the Power Cord
Note: The Ethernet Cable must be placed in the port closest to the power.
4. Wait for the terminal to boot up and display an activation code
If the steps above were not successful, continue below:
1. Locate the network device the terminal is plugged into (network switch, router, modem)
2. Locate where the Ethernet Cable is plugged in and make sure the device is displaying a green light to signal an active port
3. If the device is not displaying a green light, turn it off, wait 10-15 seconds, then turn it back on
4. Once the display light is green, unplug the Power Cord for the Pin Pad Terminal, wait 10-15 seconds, then plug it back in
