Note: If the Admin Mode screen opens, the terminal is not connected to a network

2. Unplug the Power Cord and Ethernet Cable from the wall outlet and modem

3. Wait 10-15 seconds

4. Reconnect the Ethernet Cable, followed by the Power Cord

5. Wait for the terminal to boot up and display an activation code

If the steps above were not successful, continue below:

1. Locate the network device the terminal is plugged into (network switch, router, modem)

2. Locate where the Ethernet Cable is plugged in and make sure the device is displaying a green light to signal an active port

3. If the device is not displaying a green light, turn it off, wait 10-15 seconds, then turn it back on

4. Once the display light is green, unplug the  Power Cord for the Pin Pad Terminal from the wall outlet, wait 10-15 seconds, then plug it back in

5. Wait for the terminal to boot up and display an activation code

If a terminal is still not displaying an activation code, it is possible a router firewall or other network firewall are preventing the terminal from connecting with the cloud host. If this occurs, please follow the steps below:

1. Navigate to computer or router firewall software; may require assistance from a network administrator or internet service provider

2. Allow outbound https port 443 traffic to tripos.vantiv.com

3. Allow TCP/IP traffic to port 9001 of device.tripos.vantiv.com

4. Unplug the Power Cord for the Pin Pad Terminal, wait 10-15 seconds, then plug it back in
